The process of cutting / nesting the leather


The process of cutting the leather using nesting on an InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER XL two-station cutter CNC takes place starting from:


  1. Distribution of the raw material at the leather/ textile inspection station.
  2. Determination of defects and defects of the raw material.
  3. Digitalization of the contour of the leather / material using a video system – creating a virtual image of the raw material.
  4. Automatic distribution of cutting elements on a virtual leather image using CAM software.
  5. Calculation by means of a strong nesting algorithm of the optimal distribution of elements on the digitized outline of the leather / material.
  6. Automatic leather displacement to the leather cutting box (nesting) with conveyor belt.
  7. Cut the leather with a highly efficient electric knife with an oscillation of 15,000 / min.
  8. During the cutting process, the operator can carry out another leather / material inspection.
  9. Displayed on the LCD screen cutting scheme with a description of the individual workpieces.
  10. Collection of ready-made elements from the working field.


Production efficiency can be increased by the use of an additional receiving field, which allows you to perform three different production processes simultaneously: leather / material inspections, leather nesting, and ready-made elements. 3rd InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER XXL cutter achieves efficiency of 350-400 sq m per one shift.

Photodigitalization of punches – FOTOSCAN


Photodigitalization or photoscaning is a technology for digitizing punches developed by InfoTEC CNC, which consists in scanning traditional templates using a video system and transferring them to the digital reality, by converting punches into vectors, eg in the dxf format. This technology complements the automatic cutting line C LEATER, which allows to significantly shorten the process of manual implementation of cutting punches or designing.

The InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER CNC cutter can be individually configured and adapted to suit your production needs. C LEATHER comes in four configurations in terms of performance and application, and you can choose the right tools for each one.

  • InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER – CNC cutter with one working area (no additional fields).
  • InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER XL – two-station CNC cutter with a field for leather inspection and a working and receiving field.
  • InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER XXL – three-station CNC cutter with field for leather inspection with working field and with field for receiving ready elements.
  • InfoTEC 3025 C LEATHER RXL – two-station CNC cutter with a working field and a field for the receipt of a finished cut, additionally equipped with an automatic uncoiler – spreader.
